While fly tiers welcomed the original UNI-Tray, they requested increased capacity and UNI has responded. The UNI-Tray II holds thirty-six (36) spools, more than twice as many as the original product. A shaped tempered wire, the UNI-Lok clips into one of the outside channels on the end of a UNI Products spool to hold materials securely and prevent accidental unwinding. Although it functions independently, the UNI-Lok is most efficient when used in conjunction with the existing nick on the rim of the spool. Intended for spooled materials like tinsel, wire, floss, or yarn that are seldom put in a bobbin, the UNI-Lok does not, regardless, hinder the operation of most bobbins.
