An old standby on the Miramichi from which several variations have emerged, substituting fluorescent floss for the tag and the butt. This combination of shiny copper tinsel, bright orange hackle and red-and-green floss is attractive to angler and salmon a like. The Copper Killer is a particularly a good fall parttern in small sizes and often effective in larger sizes during high water in the spring.
